The Aggies will be traveling to Baton Rouge for the first time since 1994 on Saturday. Both teams are coming off a bye week that had a completely different feeling for each team involved. The Tigers have had two weeks to dwell on losing to their long-time rival Alabama Crimson Tide 38-17. The Aggies are riding a three game winning streak after defeating Mississippi State 51-41.
Last year the Tigers defeated the Aggies 24-19 at Kyle Field. Johnny Manziel had his worst performance of the season as he threw three interceptions and couldn’t get the ball in the endzone through the air or on the ground. The Aggies committed five turnovers total but only lost by five. Expect another tight game between the two teams. A win by the Aggies and next week will set up a top ten matchup against Missouri.
Line: LSU (-4)
TV: CBS (SEC Game of the Week)
This is a huge SEC battle with a possible BCS game berth on the line. Expect there to be plenty of NFL Scouts on hand for this game. Johnny Manziel, Mike Evans and Jake Matthews are all high on many draft boards. Aggies will need a big game from Manziel to come out of Baton Rouge victorious. With that said I will take the Aggies 35-31 with a game-winning touchdown late in the fourth quarter.
