Bowl Projections and Rankings

After the loss to Missouri any thoughts or hopes of going to the Cotton Bowl went up in smoke. The last projections have the Aggies playing in the Chick-Fil-A Bowl against an ACC opponent. Mark Schlabach has Texas A&M against Clemson, Brad Edwards has Miami and Jerry Palm has them playing Duke. The consensus is Texas A&M will represent the SEC but the ACC is still up in the air.

The latest polls have come out and the Aggies are still in the top 25 following their loss to Missouri. A&M is the number 25 team in the USA Poll, 22 in the AP Poll and 24 in the BCS. This week the Aggies will sit and wait till after conference championship week to find out who they will prepare for in the Chick-Fil-A Bowl should the projections be correct.

While the coaching wanted to be playing in Atlanta this week but now they have time to rest Johnny Manziel and company. They need to get healthy if the Aggies want to put on a show for the 12th Man and send these seniors out on a positive note.
