Mike Evans Declares for the 2014 NFL Draft

Today, Texas A&M’s star Sophomore wide-receiver, Mike Evans, announced that he will enter the 2014 NFL draft. Evans had 1,394 receiving yards this season and 12 touchdowns, and was also Johnny Manziel’s favorite target throughout his two years at A&M. Evans was the only FBS player with multiple 250-yard receiving games this season (via ESPN Stats & Info). Evans had some key plays throughout the entire year, including a 90+ yard touchdown reception against then – #1 Alabama.

Now that Evans has declare, the next question will be if Manziel will join him. Evans and Manziel are both predicted first rounders in Scouts Inc. Mock Draft; Manziel as 22nd overall, Evans as  24th. Should Manziel join him, it’ll be an even bigger devastation to the Aggies, but it is key to note that Johnny has not yet come out and announced his decision as the two are roommates. Is there a change in heart from Manziel or does this just mean Manziel will leave too?
