Moving forward

If the Aggies play like this against Arizona next Tuesday, it’ll be rough. We’ll need to see better passes, more shots down low, and perhaps most importantly, more energy. There was a lack of enthusiasm at Reed against the Vaqueros. No, this win wasn’t as dominating as we would like for it to have been, but I wouldn’t let it worry me too much. UT-Rio Grande Valley isn’t a team the Aggies should worry about beating. I think they just came out a little cocky and weren’t too worried about the game. Against the Wildcats, I imagine the Aggies will come out more serious and ready to go.

The Cats were just recently a top-five team and even though they dropped completely out of the rankings, they still have the ability to play with anyone. Look for the Aggies play harder and smarter next week. Off games happen. Luckily, we were still good enough to play well below our standards and win by eighteen points.

What’s Next?

Catch the Aggies get back in gear against the Arizona State Wildcats on Tuesday, Dec. 5 at 8 p.m. CST. The Ags travel to Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix so if you’re not able to make the trek, you can find the game on ESPN2 and listen on TAMUSN, 1620 WTAW, and FM station 102.7 if you’re in the BCS area. Gig ‘em Ags and BTHO Arizona!
