Team Grades

Overall, the 2017 season was a crazy one starting with the collapse in LA, a sixth consecutive win over Arkansas, a win in Gainesville and a sixth consecutive loss to LSU. Expect the 2018 team to be better and with a new coach at the helm, I expect this team to contend for a SEC west title.

The offense started fast and then limped home. The defense played well throughout the year, had several moments where they needed a stop and could not get one. All in all it was a mixed bag that varied from game to game and half to half. This team ultimately wasn’t able to string enough solid performances together down the stretch. With that being said and with a change at head coach, the grades are as follows.

Final Team Grades: Offense C-, Defense C

When we hand out the grades in 2018, it will be interesting to see where they come in and how different they are to the 2017 grades. Good luck to the Aggies in Charlotte against Wake Forest.
