Third String

Caleb Chapman committed to the Sumlin staff and decided to sign during the early signing period. He did not enroll early, but at 6-foot-5 I see the offense getting him in the mix really quickly especially in the red zone.

Klyde Chriss played in 10 games in 2017. All four of his catches came in the non-conference. He also saw himself in the kickoff return rotation. Look for Chriss to continue to mature and work the slot behind Roshauud Paul and Camron Buckley.

Montel Parker committed to the Sumlin staff way back in the spring of 2016 and stayed true for two years. In today’s recruiting world, that does not happen very often. Coming out of Dickinson, Texas, I look for Parker to bring his speed and athleticism to the field early and often.
