Wide Receiver – Jhamon Ausbon

As mentioned in the first slide, Ausbon was selected to Athlon Sports’ fourth All SEC team. It was a surprise from the stand point there are several talented wide receivers in the conference, but not a surprise if you watched Ausbon play last season. He had 50 catches for 571 yards and three touchdowns and shined in the Aggies’ final game and the Maroon And White Game.

He will be a terrific weapon for whoever the starter is and the No. 1 wide receiver. The only thing potentially holding him back is the fact that Fisher will look to pound the rock and could put the less talented teams away with the run game, which could limit the sheer numbers Ausbon puts up

Tight End – Jace Sternberger

This was the obvious choice at tight end. Sternberger was the MVP of the Maroon And White Game, hauling in eight catches for 147 yarda and two touchdowns, including a long catch and run that showed off his speed. Tight end isn’t utilized in college as much as the NFL, but Fisher will definitely use him more than his predecessor did.

Look for Sternberger to rack up some decent touchdown numbers and possibly have a couple breakout games necessary to stand out in the SEC.
