Quarterback James Foster

National Ranking: 271
Position Ranking: 12
Alabama Ranking: 10

This became less important when Fisher recruited 3-star quarterback Zach Calzada for the 2019 class, but redshirting Foster should still be an option considering how young and talented the Aggies’ top two quarterbacks are.

Nick Starkel and Kellen Mond are still competing for the right to become the starter this season. Neither of them have hinted they would transfer if they did not win the job, so they could both be around at least two more years, and maybe three for the backup.

Foster was a fantastic, late commitment for Fisher on signing day, and he is a ridiculous talent. The Aggies just won’t need him for at least two more years, if that. Given the incredible talent coming in the 2019 and 2020 classes so far, Foster should try to stick around as long as he can. He could take over a national championship-caliber roster when it’s his time to shine.
