Which wide receivers stand out

Texas A&M has seven (!!!) true or redshirt sophomore receivers looking to earn playing time in Fisher’s new offense. Jhamon Ausbon is a super talented player from the 2017 recruiting class who had a terrific freshman season.

Behind him, it’s really up for grabs. Kendrick Rogers, Camron Buckley, Hezekiah Jones, Quartney Davis, Roshauud Paul, and Klyde Chriss are all fighting for playing time, and all but Davis had at least a couple catches in 2017.

Rogers will likely be the No. 2 opposite Ausbon, but he’ll be fighting off Davis, Jones and Chriss. Paul and Buckley could both play in the slot and will be battling each other for those snaps.

The wide receivers are a deep but so far unproven group. They could end up being a strength for the offense if they live up to their recruiting rankings.
