Defensive Tackle

One of the defensive tackle spots will definitely be filled by Kingsley Keke, who has been pegged by the Bednarik Award as one of the players to watch. This is given to the best defensive player in the country.

The spot next to him is very much up for grabs. Daylon Mack was once a 5-star recruit in 2015 and the prize of the class, but he has so far not lived up to the hype. However, if you believe Keke, Mack has rededicated himself this offseason and been making the case to start next to Keke. Mack will have extra motivation to improve his NFL Draft stock as a senior.

However, for two consecutive springs now, Justin Madubuike has been a monster in the practices and impressed the media and coaching staff. He was named MVP of the spring practices in 2018. He was the top recruit from the 2016 class and the No. 56 overall player in the country, according to the 247 Sports composite.

Ultimately, all three of these guys will be in the rotation, but the battle will rage on to see who gets the most snaps next to Keke.
