Confidence after Kentucky win

There is something to be said for getting your first “big” win of the season. Texas A&M will have the confidence they can beat anyone remaining on their schedule after the way they beat Kentucky. The Wildcats never even crossed midfield in regulation. The Ags know it was only their own mistakes that kept Kentucky in the game.

Playing with confidence makes your whole team better. It elevates the level of play to a degree and the team feels like they can handle any situation they are faced with in the game. Even if they make mistakes, they will overcome them. Even if they give up big plays for touchdowns, the offense has the defense’s back.

There is so much good that comes from the Kentucky win.

Kentucky isn’t normally a big win in football, but 2018 is different. They have wins at Florida, Mississippi State and this South Carolina team by two touchdowns. They have one of the best defenses and running games in the country. A&M moved the ball and shut down Benny Snell all game.

If the Aggies play like they did on Saturday and eliminate their mistakes, they can absolutely hang with anyone remaining on their schedule.
