Texas A&M football owns the line of scrimmage
It’s no secret that A&M has the advantage up front, but especially when the Aggies are on defense, things could get pretty hairy for the Mountaineers. The five-stars that A&M has been reeling in, most notably in this 2022 class, are making their presence felt.
Tunmise Adeleye, LT Overton, Shemars both Turner and Stewart, as well as McKinnley Jackson in a return from injury, look to figure prominently in the Aggies’ plan to stifle App up front. And they had better do so – as we saw in Boone last week, once that Mountaineer offense gets rolling, it can be tough to stop.

On the offensive side of the ball, there’s definitely more room for improvement. The OL for the Aggies had a rough day last Saturday, but the more I hear from the coaches and the closer we get to this next game, the better I feel about their chances to take a big step this week.
The Aggies should be able to run the ball at will in this game, and I see Devon Achane factoring in in a big way against App. This may be foolish given my last prediction of 200 rushing yards falling flat on it’s face, but give me Achane going for 150+ this Saturday. Why stop now, right?
