Grading Texas A&M football's coaching hires - Tony Jerod-Eddie, DL

. Tony Jerod-Eddie. gfhjgfjfjghjfghfjghfjghfjg. A+. Defensive Line Coach

Given the departure of Elijah Robinson, fans knew the retention of a familiar face at this position group was key. That's exactly what Elko elected to do in keeping Tony Jerod-Eddie, himself a former DL for Texas A&M football, around.

As it turned out, that was no small potatoes. The Aggies were able to retain some key talent up front, even though they lost a few guys like Walter Nolen and Fadil Diggs, and bring in some difference makers up front.

The defensive line is the single best-performing unit on this team, and TJE is a huge part of that. His retention was a masterful stroke by Mike Elko, and this grade reflects that reality.
