Texas A&M football is no stranger to having graduates make big plays in the Super Bowl. In recent years, Mike Evans and Von Miller have both made some noise in the biggest game of the year, with the latter even being named Super Bowl MVP— rare for a defensive player.
While there are those A&M players who have made huge plays in the big game, those who play supporting roles are as important to team success. While the stars draw much of the attention, and for good reason, the depth guys need to be given their due— which is why everyone in the organization gets a ring when a championship is won.
With the Philadelphia Eagles taking home the world title this year after their shellacking of the Kansas City Chiefs, two such players from A&M will be receiving those rings.
Texas A&M football has two more graduates receiving Super Bowl rings after Eagles defeat Chiefs
The first is a guy who saw a lot less action than Chiefs fans would have hoped: punter Braden Mann. One of the great punters in A&M history, which is saying something considering how much talent the Aggies have put out at the position, Mann hit two kicks for 96 yards.
With how prolific the Eagles offense was, it's a shame that Ainias Smith, the other former Aggie on the Eagles, was inactive. I have a feeling he could have gotten in on some of the offensive action that we were seeing out of Philly in this one.
Braden Mann. Ainias Smith.

Inactive or not, Ainias and Braden, two of the most beloved players in recent memory for Texas A&M, will be receiving hardware that even some of the greats in NFL history never got. That's quite an accomplishment for the team, and an accomplishment for these guys in particular.
