Texas A&M Football: Aggies Aim to Upset Alabama Crimson Tide

Texas A&M football fans are going to be treated to one of the best games of the year when the Aggies travel to Tuscaloosa with hopes of upsetting the mighty Crimson Tide.

Johnny Manziel and the Texas A&M Aggies went into Bryant-Denny Stadium in 2012 and beat the number one team in the nation 29-24. It was Alabama’s only loss that year on their route to yet another National Championship.

After falling to the Crimson Tide in 2013, 2014, and 2015, the 2016 Aggie team will look to recreate that magic moment in 2012, but this time instead of playing spoiler the Aggies will look to cement themselves atop the SEC West, a division where the winner typically puts themselves in the drivers seat and declares themselves a legitimate College Football Playoff contender.

Texas A&M is 1-3 against Alabama since joining the SEC in 2012, and for the fourth time in as many games this game with feature a pair of top 25 times. In 2013 the game also featured a No. 1 ranked Alabama against No. 6 Texas A&M. Alabama won that game 49-42. On a happy note, that was the same game in which Mike Evans did this:
