Saturday, Texas A&M vs. Missouri State

Samantha Show took the circle for the second time over the weekend. She pitched the full seven innings, allowing two runs on six hits. Both Missouri State runs came in the 2nd inning. This win pushed Show to 4-0 on the year.

Tori Vidales got things started for the Aggies with a homer in the first, putting the Maroon and White ahead for the moment. The Bears responded with two in the 2nd to take the lead- albeit a short lived one. A bases loaded walk in the home half of the inning tied it for the Aggies.

Once again, the Aggies put up a five-spot to pull away in this one. An RBI single by Samantha Show, scoring Ashley Walters gave the Aggies the lead for good. Kristen Cuyos then added insult to injury with a three-run homer over the center field wall. The 5th run of the inning, Riley Sartain, scored on an RBI single by red-hot Tori Vidales.

The Aggies tacked on one more in the 5th when Keeli Milligan scored on a throwing error by the Missouri State catcher. The ladies in maroon and white took this one 8-2, improving to 9-0. The Aggie offense was running on all cylinders. When Show takes the circle good things seem to happen for Texas A&M.
