The Men’s Bracket was released on Selection Sunday, the ladies have to wait one more day for the Women’s NCAA Tournament bracket release on Selection Monday.

Women’s basketball tends to be a bit more top-heavy than the men’s game. Because of their bracket can tend to look a bit more chalky that you might expect, but that doesn’t mean their aren’t some wild games.

Only four of the top 25 teams in the country had lost double digit games. What does that mean for the tournament? Lots of intense competition in the later rounds. You won’t see as many 15-seed’s take down 2-seeds. However, when it’s the Elite 8 and programs like Uconn and Duke are squaring off for a spot in the final four – that’s must see tv. One more wrinkle to the women’s game: the opening weekend games are hosted by the higher seed it each regional.

At this point in the season it’s fairly clear which teams will still be dancing after the first weekend has settled. That said, there’s a reason why they play the games. The biggest question? Will any team have what it takes to take out UConn? The Huskies are 31-0 this year and the unanimous number on in the current AP polls.

The selection show is schedule to air Monday, March 13 at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN. Streaming is available live on the WatchESPN app.
