9. Leon O’Neal Jr.

Safety, Cy Springs High School (Cypress, TX)

O’Neal is a really exciting player. At the safety position, he comes in at 6’1″, 190 pounds. He is the type of player who reminds me of Justin Evans. He hits hard, but can also make plays on the ball in the air.

O’Neal is currently ranked No. 131 in the composite rankings and is the No. 13 safety. Right now, his only two crystal balls have him both trending towards the Aggies. O’Neal earned his offer from Texas A&M on November 19th last year. He has been to College Station multiple times including junior day.

One could tell O’Neal is a special player from his tape, however he backs it with facts. He recently got invited to the Opening Finals. On the field this season he racked up 86  along with two interceptions. If the Aggies can get O’Neal to commit, him and Jordan Moore will have the safety position on lock in the future.
