Fresh off a series win on the road against LSU, the Texas A&M baseball team has another tough conference matchup this weekend against Auburn.

Looking for a fun way to spend Parents’ weekend? Texas A&M baseball (20-10 overall 3-6 SEC) is playing a three game set at Olsen Field against the Auburn Tigers (23-8, 7-2). The Aggies are coming off a huge series win at LSU and a midweek victory at home versus Dallas Baptist.

Winning this series would be a major boost to the Aggies’ postseason chances as Baseball America projects Texas A&M to miss the NCAA tournament as one of the First Four teams out. D1 Baseball, however, has Texas A&M as a 3-Seed in the Houston Regional. A series win against Auburn would set the team up well for next weekend’s series against Alabama, who have the fewest wins in the SEC.

Unfortunately the Saturday contest will not be televised. This weekend will be jam packed with SEC spring games and Aggie baseball drew the short end of the broadcast stick. The Friday night and Sunday afternoon game will be available on the SEC Network+. Tune your radio dial to 1150 AM or 102.7 FM.
