Texas A&M Baseball: Aggies Head to Show Me State for Series with Missouri
Texas A&M baseball heads to Missouri for a three game set against the Tigers this weekend. The Aggies are looking to win their fifth consecutive SEC series.
The Texas A&M-Missouri series is a matchup of teams heading in opposite directions. On March 25, the Aggies were 0-5 in SEC play and also suffered tough non conference losses to TCU and Baylor. Projections after the slow start had the Aggies missing the tournament after being a super regional host in 2016.
Since then the Aggies have won four straight series and are the No. 19 team in the nation according to D1 baseball. On the other hand, the Mizzou Tigers raced to a 20-1 start but have since taken a nosedive, losing 13 of their last 20 games.
All games will be broadcast on the SEC Network+. The teams announced late Thursday night that they will play a double header on Friday due to inclement weather in the area on Saturday. Game 1 will start Friday at 3:00 p.m. CT with the second game following later than evening. The series finale is tentatively scheduled for 1 p.m. CT Sunday.
