51. . Round 4 (117 Overall). Rams. Josh Reynolds. WR. player

I’m also sore about this because this was another guy I could have seen going to the Cowboys. That aside, I think this is the biggest steal of the draft. For a 3-star recruit who was pursued more as a track athlete, Josh Reynolds became one of the top wide receivers in Aggie Football history.

After watching Reynolds’ highlights from several 2016 games, I think last season probably could have been worse without him on the field. I know for a fact that the Texas Bowl wouldn’t have been as close as it was without him.

Sure he’s not as bulky as some other WRs, but look at Cole Beasley on the Dallas Cowboys. He’s a small guy who’s been quite productive. Reynolds is tall (6-foot, 3-inches) and anyone who’s watched him play can attest that for all of A&M’s touted wide receivers, it was him who put up the best numbers. All despite playing alongside more highly recruited guys like Ricky Seals-Jones and Speedy Noil.

Last year, the Rams went with Jared Goff for their No. 1 overall pick, a man who’s currently being groomed as a franchise quarterback. The problem is, there’s no one on that roster who stood out to me as someone he could get the ball to enough to threaten opposing defenses. Well, now they have one.
