Game 3: Texas A&M defeats Missouri 7-2
Stephen Kolek capped off a successful weekend as the Aggies battled through weather to claim a 7-2 victory in Game 3. Kolek allowed only one hit through his 6.2 innings of work and carried a no-hitter into the 7th inning.
John Doxakis and Mitchell Kilkenny closed out the game. The duo allowed a combined two runs on three hits. Kilkenny picked up his 7th save of the game with the win.
Texas A&M led 1-0 heading into the 8th inning before the game was delayed for a little over an hour due to weather. However, as soon as the game resumed, so did the Aggie bats. The Aggies added 6 insurance runs just to be safe in the top of the 9th.
Walker Pennington got it started with a 2 RBI tripled scoring Janca and Blake Koptesky. Nick Choruby followed that with an RBI single and scored later on Logan Foster’s double. Finally, Braden Shewmake cleared the bases with a 2 RBI #Whammy to right center.
