4. Dan Mullen – Mississippi State

Record at School

61-42

Mullen consistently finds ways to do more with less. You won’t find Mississippi State at the top of any recent recruiting rankings, but they have topped the national polls as recently as 2014. Mississippi State has failed to reach the six win mark just once in Mullen’s tenure. He’s had to play Auburn, LSU, and Alabama every single year. He doesn’t have the swagger of Saban, but the coaching job he’s done in Starkville is remarkable.
