Best Case Scenario No. 4

Young players come to play

The Aggie Coaching staff recruited some great players to come play for them in 2017. According to 24/7 Sports the Aggies had the 12th ranked recruiting class in the nation while finishing sixth in the SEC. The Aggies are bringing in 28 new football players including 4-star linebacker Anthony Hines. He is just one of the many talented players that are coming to College Station to play for the Aggie Football staff.

Texas A&M football lost a lot of talent on the both sides of the ball in the NFL Draft this year. That means these young guys will need to be ready to play from the get go. I believe that will happen. These guys are going to have to be ready to play SEC Football from day one. They all have impressive resumes, having succeeded in high school, but I am excited to see what they can do for the Aggies.

They Aggies biggest youth infusion was at the wide receiver position. They brought in four new guys to help fill the void of the departed Josh Reynolds, Speedy Noil and Ricky Seals-Jones. Not all of them will probably get playing time but it would not surprise me to see some of these talent freshman start the season.

Texas A&M also needed to beef up the defense. John Chavis did that by bringing in multiple defensive ends and defensive tackles. The aforementioned Hines was the number two overall player in his position. All of these guys are going to have to be ready when the UCLA game rolls around.
