Texas A&M football and every other sport cares a little more about each game against the Longhorns. Here are the top 10 Lonestar showdowns of all time.

In case you missed it, new University of Texas football coach Tom Herman wants to renew the A&M/UT Thanksgiving Day rivalry game. He went on the record saying, “I don’t know why we can’t play A&M as our marquee non-conference opponent.”

The comment, made at this year’s Big XII Media Days, sparked a lot of conversation and got us to thinking – what are the ten best games A&M and Texas have played, all sports included? The rivalry dates all the way back to 1894, when Texas A&M and Texas played their first football game. They haven’t played (in football, anyway) since A&M left for the SEC in 2012, but hopefully, if the powers that be are listening, we’ll be seeing these two back on the gridiron soon.

I looked across all the sports, and here are the 10 best of all time. It’s time to take a trip down memory lane once again. Fair warning, though: the word “best” does not necessarily mean the Aggies came out on top.
