What do these performances mean for Kevin Sumlin’s job security?

What do these performances mean for Kevin Sumlin’s future in College Station? Well, if the Aggies would’ve won in formidable fashion like they were on track to, Sumlin wouldn’t have to worry about much and people would even applaud him. However, since the Aggies blew the second largest league in NCAA history, it could be detrimental.

Yes, in this case, the ends do justify the means. If we would have won, Kevin Sumlin would probably be off of the hot seat and the fans would be more accepting of another mediocre year in order to let Starkel and Mond develop. However, a loss like that has brought nothing positive to Sumlin’s job security. In fact, one of A&M’s Board of Regents members has called for Sumlin’s termination from the program. So have many other fans.
