SEC news abounds. Week 1 of SEC football is over and done. Texas A&M football whiffed on a big opportunity, injuries were everywhere and Alabama is still elite.

College football is back! And what a first week it was. The SEC slate featured some big time challenges this week (Florida vs. Michigan, Alabama vs. Florida State, Texas A&M vs. UCLA) and some cupcakes (Arkansas at home versus Florida A&M, Mississippi State at home against Charleston Southern, Georgia vs. Appalachian State), and the conference came out looking…well, we aren’t quite sure yet.

Texas A&M gave up a 34 point lead in the second half. We’ll be debating this all year, but is the SEC still king of the college football world? Sure Bama rolled Florida State, but what about everyone else? Here are the biggest storylines from Week 1 in the SEC.
