Predictions

The Ags continue to be difficult to predict. They looked spectacular in the first half against UCLA, but then in the second half they looked horrible. It’s still impossible to figure out what team is going to show up and if they are going to show up for the whole game or just part of it.

Last year the Aggies played three non-conference regular season games going 3-0 in those contests. The Aggies did make one of the easier games closer than it needed to be against UTSA. In the end though, Texas A&M won all three non-conference regular season games.

The Aggies are looking to come out balling in front of the 12th man at Kyle Field. Texas A&M is planning to show their support for Houston and the Texas Gulf coast areas that were impacted by Hurricane Harvey by selling BTHO Harvey shirts and giving 18,000 tickets away to those who were affected by the storm.

Three bold calls for this week’s game:

  • Texas A&M picks off Nicholls State twice.
  • Kellen Mond passes for 200 yards.
  • Trayveon Williams rushes for three touchdowns.

Prediction: Texas A&M 49 – Nicholls State 10
