After yet another wild weekend of college football we are starting to see the cream rise to the top. From No. 25 to No. 1 here’s how the nation’s best stack up.
What a second week. We saw several large upsets, some teams take care of business, some beatdowns, and much more. This seems like par for the course as far as college football Saturdays go, but there aren’t many of these every year. We have to cherish every chance we can get.
Before we take a look at the poll for this week, let’s look at how each conference did.
ACC – 4 teams
Big Ten – 4 teams
Big 12– 4 teams
PAC-12 – 5 teams
SEC – 7 teams
The SEC leads the way, but there is a rather large gap between SEC the first and the second team from the conference, 10 whole spots, to be exact. All four Big Ten teams were in the top 10, and the PAC-12 and Big 12 were much more spread out. To me, this means that the Big 10 is the most powerful conference in college football. Four of the 14 teams are not only in the top 25, they are in the top 10. That’s incredible talent and power at the top end.
Texas A&M football still has a good amount of work to do before they enter the top 25, but a win over Louisiana-Lafayette on Saturday was certainly a step in the right direction. We’ll start at 25 and work our way down for this Week 4 edition of the Agg Poll.
