2. Clemson (3-0)

Defeated Louisville 47-21

After last year’s instant classic against Lamar Jackson and the Louisville Cardinals, the Clemson Tigers decided that they were going to save their close games for later. With the departure of quarterback Deshawn Watson, everyone figured that Clemson may take a step back this year.

Luckily for them, junior quarterback Kelly Bryant was ready to assume his role and take over. Take over, he has. Against Louisville, he threw for 316 yards and one touchdown. Avoiding turnovers may be his biggest asset and job, and he will have plenty of chances to prove his worth.

There is little rest for the Clemson Tigers, as they must play a defensive minded Boston College team and a hot Virginia Tech team in the next two weeks. The Virginia Tech game, in Blacksburg, and the Florida State game, will prove just how hard these Tigers bite.

Head coach Dabo Swinney has made a powerhouse out of the Clemson Tigers, and he will look to make his team the powerhouse of the ACC. This may be difficult, with Florida State, Miami and Louisville all becoming contenders and getting better.
