Texas A&M football is three games into the 2017 season. We’ve learned a lot about this team so far. Here are game-by-game predictions for the rest of the year.

The first couple of weeks have left Aggie fans scratching their heads. Is there any of you out there that still sees as many as eight or nine wins? Is 10 a possibility?

I woke up this morning to find that a major sports news outlet is still a non-believer and does not have us in a bowl come December.  I know these projections change by the week but this team has enough talent and coaching to get to six wins.  We all know anything less and we’re looking for a new coach.

Heading into 2017 there were several questions that the coaching staff had to answer. Would someone step up to play quarterback? Who would help Trayveon Williams, Christian Kirk and Keith Ford? Who would replace Myles Garrett and Daeshon Hall? How many wins will coach Kevin Sumlin need to survive?

This schedule was tailored made for a team with a young quarterback. Only three road games, one neutral site game and a stretch where the team leaves the state of Texas only once in 10 weeks. All of that had to excite you and so far we’ve seen both bright spots and a fair share of reasons for concern.

Let’s talk about success, it means something different to everyone. What does the administration want, what does the fan base want, what does Coach Sumlin, the staff and the team want? What I wanted was simple.  Let’s decide on a quarterback and find a way to get to nine wins. The quarterback situation might have sorted it out for now; that leaves the wins. Here are our game-by-game predictions for the remainder of the 2017 Texas A&M football season.
