As we reach the week before Thanksgiving and if my predictions hold the Aggies head into their final two games 8-2. First up is Ole Miss in Oxford. This new rivalry has been very one-sided in the corner of the Rebels. Without Johnny Manziel, the Aggies might be 0-5 against Ole Miss since joining the conference. 2-3 does look better but three straight losses does put me in a sour mood.

The last three games have been very difficult to watch. In 2014, the Aggies were down 35-7 in the fourth, in 2015 the Aggies do not score a touchdown while not completing a pass in the third quarter.

And then there’s last years game, I remember it vividly because I had to watch it from the Hunters Creek Elementary school auction (love being a teacher’s husband) with parent after parent trying to come up and talk to me. We all know the fourth quarter did not go well and we basically help launch Shea Patterson’s career.

What will he do in his encore? Will this team break the curse, my answer is YES! Why I know this, they lost to California, enough said. When you commit 16 penalties, this team screams undisciplined. The Aggies go to Oxford and with a potent running game of somewhere near 300 yards. This time the game is put out of reach early and the Rebels will not be able to re-create the magic from 2016.

Final score prediction:  Aggies win 38-17 (9-2)
