I know we will all take it if we wake up Sunday morning following the Florida game with a record of 5-2.  Anything less and this makes 2017 hard to salvage.  If we have only three or four wins, there’s only one win left that is guaranteed (New Mexico).  The other four will be a toss up and could go either way.  At some point we have to beat LSU, but I just made the same argument about Arkansas.  We have no one in the building that’s beaten LSU and it’s been 22 years since we know what that feeling is like.

I want Kevin Sumlin to be our coach, he knows he has to win. Changing coaches mid-season is something I never want to see happen to any coach. I want all Aggies to rally behind this coach and this team, a divided fan base never helps. How about a little good will and maybe some support over the next four weeks?

Beating Arkansas, South Carolina and Florida will go a long way and like they say in the poker world, I would like to use my one-time against Alabama. Sometimes miracles do come true and I’m not saying the Aggies need one yet, but being granted one that week would be nice. I think the ship picked up a little steam in the second half against Louisiana, let’s build upon that.

Texas A&M enters the bye week 5-2 with some optimism remaining for the season and Kevin Sumlin’s seat beginning to cool ever so slightly.
