Our final non-conference game brings former Aggie defensive coordinator and family friend Bob Davie back to College Station.  I’m with a majority of college football fans that dislikes these types of games in November, but this will be the norm until commissioner Greg Sankey and the other conference commissioners get on the same page when it comes to number of conference games in a season.

As for this game, this will be another test to see how sound our team is especially on defense. We saw during the Nicholls and Louisiana games that everyone wants to knock off the big boys. And if I know Bob Davie like I do, what a great chance to get a signature win at a place you called home for nine seasons.

Currently, New Mexico is 1-2 with losses to rival New Mexico State and Boise State in a game they were in for a long time. The Aggies will be ready to go and should win this game going away. The line will probably be similar to the Louisiana game so why not predict the same score. The only difference? The Lobos will not be leading at halftime. Let’s stay healthy and get ready for Mississippi and LSU.

Final score prediction:  Aggies win 45-21 (8-2)
