The SEC had a somewhat quiet weekend, but some changes to the rankings have been made. Where does Texas A&M football stand entering Week 9?

The upcoming week in the SEC is going to be huge. Many teams are coming off of their bye weeks and some prime-time matchups will be taking place. The Aggies have a tough test at home against Mississippi State, and desperately need a win against the Bulldogs.

Saturday Night at Kyle Field

After experiencing all the night time home games this season, I have concluded that there is no greater college football gameday atmosphere than here at Texas A&M. The 12th Man will be rocking Saturday night in one of the most important games of the season. A win this weekend would create an opportunity for a nine or ten win season, which would be perfect for the future of this young team. If you can’t make it out to Kyle Field, then be sure to tune into ESPN at 6 p.m.

Is Georgia for real?

This weekend Georgia will meet Florida for a neutral-site game in Jacksonville. The Bulldogs are ranked third in the nation, and must win out if they want a legitimate shot at making the college football playoff. I’m not saying this weekend is a major scare, but the Gators do have quite a bit of talent. Georgia has performed well, but there may be some vulnerable areas that are yet to be exposed. The goal for the Bulldogs is to meet Alabama in the SEC Championship, but games like the one this Saturday could be deadly.
