Texas A&M Football looks to bounce back from a Week 9 loss by upsetting Auburn. Here are three players to watch for each team and a final prediction.
Last week’s game against Mississippi State was brutal for the Texas A&M Aggies, and this week doesn’t look to be much better. Whatever optimism existed after the Florida win is pretty dead and gone.
The good news for the Aggies this week is that Auburn’s star running back, Kamryn Pettway, is out indefinitely with a fractured shoulder. Last season Pettway ran for 123 yards and a touchdown in the Tigers loss to the Aggies at Jordan-Hare.
The bad news is the Tigers have another versatile running back who can easily step in and do just as much damage as Pettway in Kerryon Johnson. Last season Johnson rushed for 60 yards and a touchdown against the Aggies.
The Tigers’ visit to Kyle Field is their third straight road game against SEC West opponents; they are 1-1 in the last two weeks with a win over Arkansas (3-5, 1-4) last week and a loss to LSU (6-2, 3-1) two weeks ago.
The Aggies are going to have to find a way to forget about the Mississippi State debacle and fix their issues to have any chance of beating the Tigers. Here are three Tigers to watch.
