Texas A&M football picked up another win, but was it Missouri that made the loudest statement in Week 12? Let’s take a look around the SEC.

After a couple of consecutive weeks of chaos, Week 12 of the 2017 college football season was relatively quiet. All of the top 10 teams won – and weren’t really tested. The college football slate was filled with “cupcakes,” and teams took care of business.

The SEC slate featured about half non-conference games and half conference games. Alabama, Auburn, Florida, and South Carolina all took care of business against non-conference opponents. The conference games included Texas A&M at Ole Miss, Mississippi State at Arkansas, Kentucky at Georgia, LSU at Tennessee, and Missouri at Vanderbilt.

Arkansas made things interesting against Mississippi State, but ultimately fell in the last seconds of the game. All of those contests set up a final weekend with a lot on the line, and that includes the SEC West. Georgia has secured the SEC East, but the winner of next week’s game between Alabama and Auburn will represent the West in the SEC Championship game.

Here are the highlights from a quiet week in the SEC.
