5. Tyrel Dodson – Pie

“Desert doesn’t go to the stomach. It goes to the heart. That’s why there’s always room for dessert.” One of my friends told me this a while back and I must say, it was a game changer. See, here’s the best part about most deserts: they’re consistently one of the best things you ate that day. Ask your relatives what they’re top three dishes were throughout the entire meal and odds are, dessert will be up there for most people.

This is how it is with Tyrel Dodson, the pie on the team. Dodson has consistently shown up and performed every single week this season. He’s grown more than anyone on the team from last year and he’s always one of the top performers on the Saturdays. Just like good desserts, good players don’t last long. Expect Dodson to be drafted in the early rounds after next season. This kid is going places. Just like this year’s apple pie is going to my belly… I mean heart!
