Robert Williams III
Once again, projected lottery pick Robert Williams III was almost a non-factor in terms of scoring. He only had an incredible alley-oop and two free throws to account for. Beyond that, he played well. I’d like to see him go up more underneath the basket but at least he was making smart passes. I don’t have a problem with DJ Hogg or Admon Gilder catching a ball in the corner to shoot. Rob did do great on the boards. He pulled down 14 total rebounds and of course had a pair of blocks to cap off the night. Defense is this guy’s strong suit and he definitely knows it.
Tyler Davis
In my eyes, Tyler Davis is the player of the game. The big man only missed one shot from the field, had seven boards, and three assists to keep the Aggies in the game. To me, he’s the anchor of this team and like Coach Kennedy said before the season started, he proves to be the best leader on the team. If I have to criticize him anywhere, it was his free throw shooting for the night. He went 1-for-7 from the line but I’m not worried about it. I think he just had a bad game from that aspect. He’s proven all year that free throws are no big deal to him. He’ll be fine against Arizona.

Savion Flagg
We got to see freshman Savion Flagg return against the Vaqueros. He’s been out with an eye injury the past few games. Now, he has a protective mask and came out looking solid. He only played nine minutes but his four points and four rebounds were impressive. Look for him to have a bigger role as the season continues. The ceiling is high with this one.
DJ Hogg
I really hope that DJ Hogg makes an NBA team so that I can play as him on 2k. Once again, DJ showed that the 3-ball is no big deal as he went 4-7 from deep, two of which sparked a late-game push. Fun fact: Hogg’s current 3-point percentage (.532) would have listed at number three in the nation last year. His defense has really developed as well. He had 10 total rebounds and a blocked shot. Both of those stat categories are areas he’s been performing well in all year. With an automatic deep ball and solid D, we just might see him on 2k19.
