AAC Championship Game

Saturday, Dec. 2 – No. 20 Memphis vs No. 14 UCF, 11:00 a.m. CT, Spectrum Stadium, ABC

This game is the reason I wrote this article. At first, I sat down to write a piece on why everyone should watch this game, and realized I was excited for about every conference championship game. There are going to be FIREWORKS. I normally decide what games I am going to watch based on the over/under that Vegas has set, and this one is set at 82 (for reference, Texas A&M did not have an over/under above about 72 this year).

UCF is undefeated, with one of the hotter names in the coaching market in Scott Frost. Memphis is no slouch at 10-1, and Mike Norvell is also one of the hot names in coaching.

Both of these teams have great offenses and defenses that can be a little bit suspect at times. UCF is coming off a thrilling win over USF (there were three lead changes in the last three minutes), and Memphis just finished scoring on ECU again, winning 70-13. This should be a fun one, especially for someone not emotionally involved in it. I would recommend having this one on even over the Big 12 championship game.
