Texas A&M football has a new coach and sky-high expectations. Which five games will be the most important in Jimbo Fisher’s first season in Aggieland?

New Texas A&M head coach Jimbo Fisher didn’t just hit the ground running in College Station, he hit the ground at a dead sprint. Since his introduction at a press conference, the new coach has traveled across the country recruiting, made an appearance on ESPN’s College GameDay and spoken at an Aggie basketball game in College Station.

The recruiting trail has been his primary focus. From Monday afternoon through Thursday Coach Fisher spent time in Houston, Dallas, and Atlanta, Georgia. Interim head coach Jeff Banks went out to California.

And it’s a good thing too – the Aggies have a tough 2018 schedule. A quick once over of the schedule shows that at least six games easily classify as “important.” Of those six nearly all of them could be classified as the most important as well.

I could see each of these games going either way right now and while it’s way too early to make score predictions, I will tell you who I think will win the game. Here are the five games I think are the most important for in Jimbo Fisher’s first year as the head coach at Texas A&M.
