The 2018 Texas A&M football recruiting class signed 10 players during the early signing period. Who are the biggest targets for the Aggies moving forward?

The early signing period has come to a close. Texas A&M didn’t blow anyone away with their list of signees, but they still wrapped up half of their 2018 class. Among the more notable names the Aggies inked are 4-star linebacker Max Wright as well as JUCO defensive tackle Mohamed Diallo.

The Aggies signed eight others during the early signing period, bringing their current tally to 10 signees. Five committed players have yet to sign. Jalen Preston, Brian Johnson and Deneric Prince, all teammates at Manvel High School, intend to sign with the Aggies on National Signing Day. DaShaun White and Tyree Wilson are still expected to be Aggies as well.

Jimbo Fisher and his staff missed out on some of their wish list during the early signing period. They watched Luke Ford, Dominick Wood-Anderson and Terrace Marshall all sign elsewhere. Rather than get frustrated, Fisher and his staff are going to get to work. No, the Aggies aren’t done yet.

National Signing Day is Wednesday, February 8. That gives the Aggies a little more than a month to lock down a few uncommitted prospects and flip a few others. Here are five names at the top of the wish list for Fisher’s 2018 Texas A&M football recruiting class.
