I think most people can agree that one of Texas A&M’s biggest weakness on the gridiron in the past few seasons has been its pass coverage. It’s been a good while since the Aggies have had a truly elite corner like Minkah Fitzpatrick or Marcus Lattimore. Now, they’re hoping they can land their next shut down corner in Isaac Taylor-Stuart. Ranked as a 4- Star recruit by 247 Sports, Taylor-Stuart is a heck of a player. Listed as No. 4 corner in the nation and the No. 5 player in the state of California, this kid is what A&M needs to take it to the next level.

Watching his highlight film is just flat-out entertaining. There’s really not much he can’t do. One thing I love about him is his size. At 6-foot-2 and 187 pounds he can cover just about anyone. The big and tall guy that Ole Miss always seems to have, TS can cover him. The physical receiver from Alabama, TS can handle him. Even the speedy guy from Mississippi State won’t be a problem.

Speaking of speed, did I mention that Taylor-Stuart runs a 4.3 40-yard dash?! That is blazing my friends. That’s not something you see every day and with his size AND his speed, he’s the real deal.

Right now, it shows that he’s leaning towards USC but the Trojans are on the decline and the Aggies are on the rise! Several recruiting experts have him committing to Texas A&M including USC’s top recruiting predictor on 247sports.com, Tom Loy. If the Aggies land this kid, expect a big culture change in the A&M secondary. With him, we’ll be able to cover the good ones, not just tackle them.
