Pro style quarterback Brock Purdy is another guy that has very recently piqued the interest of the Aggie coaching staff. Sitting at 6-foot-1, 197 pounds, Purdy is the fourth ranked QB in the state of Arizona and the 36th ranked pro style quarterback in the nation. Purdy also had an impressive 2017 season, throwing for 4,405 total yards as well as 57 passing touchdowns.

The Gilbert, Arizona native was offered by Texas A&M very recently on Feb. 1, and is currently scheduled to visit campus the final weekend before National Signing Day on Wednesday, Feb. 7.

Purdy has shown interest in Alabama, Iowa State, and UCF in the past few weeks and with National Signing Day less than a week away, the odds of Texas A&M corralling his interest now may be unlikely. Unless the visit to Aggieland fully shifted his opinion in favor of the Aggies, I wouldn’t bet on Purdy signing with Texas A&M on National Signing Day.
