4. Kenyon Green

One of A&M’s biggest disappointments last year was their offensive line. After a dominating performance against UCLA, the o-line fell apart and the Aggie offense was hit or miss each week. Without a solid offensive line, there’s really not much an offense can do. The quarterback won’t have time to throw and running backs won’t have holes to run through. You won’t be able to set up the pass with the run, and it’s just hard to do anything in general. So, how do you fix this issue? You go and recruit guys like Kenyon Green.

Green is an offensive tackle from Humble, Texas. If you have been noticing a trend in this article, you’ll have noticed that I am a big fan of big football players. Kenyon keeps the trend alive at 6-foot-5 and 315 pounds.

This big guy certainly has the size to stop those big defensive linemen from LSU and Alabama. I think it’s safe to say he has the skill too. The 5-star recruit is not only ranked as the number one offensive tackle in Texas, he’s ranked as the number one player in Texas and number five overall in the nation according to ESPN.

Ags everywhere are hoping that “Big Ken” stays close to home and comes to Texas A&M (and according to 247sports, he will)! After a dismal year of offensive production, the Aggies are ready to have a fun, high-powered offensive again that puts up a bunch of points. Green and those similar to him are building blocks to any good offense and are exactly what the Aggies need in order to win games.
