Texas A&M basketball will have their work cut out for them in the Sweet 16 against the Michigan Wolverines, but they should be up to the task.

It has been three days since Texas A&M basketball dominated the North Carolina Tar Heels to the tune of a 86-65 victory that shocked the basketball world. Some experts were giving the Aggies a chance to pull off the upset, but exactly no one expected the level of domination that took place.

A&M took a 14 point halftime lead and then a quick 20-point lead in the early minutes of the second half and never looked back.

Michigan, meanwhile, survived a tough Round of 32 matchup against the Houston Cougars thanks to a miraculous three pointer at the buzzer. Michigan is very balanced, ranking 3rd in defensive efficiency and 38th in offensive efficiency. Their overall Pomeroy ranking is 10th to the Aggies’ 25th.

This looks to be an even matchup on paper — Michigan opened as a -3.0 betting favorite — but there are ways A&M can pull off yet another upset.
