The No. 12 Texas A&M baseball team returns to Olsen Field on Thursday for a three game series against the fifth-ranked Ole Miss Rebels.

After a rough opening weekend of SEC play, the No. 12 Texas A&M baseball team returns to Olsen Field on Thursday for a three game series against the fifth-ranked Ole Miss Rebels. The Aggies (18-4, 1-2) finished non-conference play at 16-2 before falling to Auburn in the first two games of their three game series.

The Auburn series was the first one the Aggies have lost this season. After scoring 135 runs through the first 18 games, the Aggies couldn’t seem to buy offense, putting up one run and five runs in the losses, and five in the win as well.

On Tuesday, the Aggies traveled to Rice and walked out of Reckling Park with a convincing 13-4 win. Hopefully that offense followed the Aggies back from Houston, because they will need all the offense they can get to defeat the Rebels.

Ole Miss (20-2, 2-1) dropped one game to Long Beach State during the first weekend of March, as well as their first conference game against Tennessee last weekend. They ultimately won the Tennessee series.

The series will be played Thursday through Saturday as opposed to Friday through Sunday. Game times are 6 p.m. CT on Thursday and Friday and 2 p.m. on Saturday. The Thursday and Friday night games can be found on the SEC Network, and the rubber match on Saturday will streaming on SEC Network+. Projected pitching matchups are as follows:
