Reserves

The Aggies typically don’t ask much of their reserves, but senior Trocha-Morelos had as much trouble on defense as the two starting bigs did. He has more lateral quickness than Davis but it didn’t mean much, even when Kennedy went with a small ball lineup with TTM and four guard/wings.

He gave everything he had for A&M in his four years here. He will most definitely be missed.

FINAL STAT LINE: 2-for-5, 5 points, 3 rebounds

As is typical for Flagg, he didn’t shoot much in his 18 minutes off the bench. I wish he would be more aggressive with the minutes he does get. When Hogg missed time due to a suspension, Flagg stepped up and had a couple good games. He was aggressive and could be the future leading scorer for the Aggies.

Unfortunately he was relegated to defense off the bench in the tournament. Still, the experience from getting meaningful minutes for a Sweet 16 team will have positive effects for sure.

FINAL STAT LINE: 1-for-2, 2 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist

The Aggies got more than they typically expect from Chandler on the offensive end. Unfortunately not even he, the Aggies best perimeter defender, could hold down Michigan’s lights out shooting from outside. Chandler has to develop as a shooter and improve his offensive game in general moving forward.

FINAL STAT LINE: 2-for-3, 7 points, 2 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 turnover
