Texas A&M Baseball has been doing its thing for a couple of weeks now but finally it’s time for some MLB Aggies to take the field!

The college baseball season is already in full swing. Texas A&M started off strong, but hit a snag over their first two SEC series. Nevertheless, the Aggies are still a top 25 ballclub with aspirations of returning to the College World Series.

Texas A&M baseball has remained a national power under head coach Rob Childress. The Aggies have made two College World Series appearances under Childress, with the most recent coming last season.  Six players from that squad were drafted, but none of them have made their appearance in the big leagues just yet.

Now, America’s pastime has officially returned to the big stage and she has brought along a total of eight Fightin’ Texas Aggies. That’s right, eight former student-athletes from Texas A&M are starting the season off on MLB rosters.

Let’s run down the list and see who these big leaguers are!
