Texas A&M football is set to play their spring game on April 14, and here are the most intriguing things to look for that day.

Yes, the college football season is still about five months away, but one of the most exciting events of the offseason is almost upon us. That’s right, folks, it’s time for some Fightin’ Texas Aggie Spring football.

The Spring Game, or Maroon And White Game as it’s called in Aggieland, will be held on April 14, and if Jimbo Fisher has anything to say about it, it will be a spectacle like rarely seen before.

For one, the game will be free to attend for the first time ever, unless you’re in the super nice suites. This, along with it being Fisher’s first “game” as head coach, is sure to fill the freshly renovated Kyle Field more than it ever has before for this event.

According to the press release, the 2018 Maroon And White Game will be treated like any other game, with an Aggie Fan Zone, concessions, and traditional scoring with the two teams not having any idea what plays are coming. Captains will draft the teams prior to the game.

Plus, during halftime there will be an Alumni flag football game featuring Johnny Manziel, Dat Nguyen and others. This is going to be a show.

So what should you be watching for on April 14? Here are five of the most intriguing storylines for that day.
